Ethics in Political Campaigns
GOVT-520-002
Instructor: C. Whitney
November 15 & November 29

Ethics in political campaigns is often a topic of casual discussion, but not always one of substantive analysis. This course is designed to facilitate examination and discussion of ethical conduct in today's political campaigns, and to focus attention on the need for higher ethical standards in campaign politics. Through discussion, exercises, and presentations by political professionals, students consider real-world ethical dilemmas, develop their own ethical codes to guide campaign conduct, and apply those codes to simulated political and fundraising situations.
